The Emile Noël family finca
Organic olive oil from the Emile Noël family olive grove
Huilerie Emile Noël, organic olive producer
Born in 2014 from the desire of David Garnier, President of Huilerie Emile Noël, to once again become an olive producer, La Finca is the result of an ambitious project that was close to his heart.
TheEmile Noël organic olive grove is located in Alameda, Andalusia. It’s a region where David Garnier used to spend his childhood vacations with his family.
It was his love for this province that inspired him to return to the first activities of his ancestors. That’s why he wanted to restore this olive farm. The latter having been abandoned over a year ago.

In 1956, in the south of France, a natural disaster disrupted local life. Intense frost in March destroyed no less than 90% of French olive trees. Olive-growing then became almost non-existent in the area.
Spain was the obvious choice. It is easily accessible from the South of France and ideal for its climate. Spain is home to several hundred hectares of olive groves: olive trees as far as the eye can see, blending into the horizon.
The finca, a family estate
Juan, a former employee of the estate before it was abandoned, lived with his wife and three children in a room in the building.
A great deal of work has been carried out, at the request of the President of Huilerie Emile Noël. This has enabled Juan and his family to live in better conditions.
Today, Juan can once again contribute his know-how to the farm and pass on his passion for olive trees.
This return to our roots is a high point for the company. It refers to the reality of working the land with respect for nature and the people who cultivate it.
Rehabilitation of the estate
Numerous investments have been made and continue to be made to ensure the smooth running and management of the estate.
In particular, the entire irrigation system has been renovated. We installed a “drip” system, which reduces water consumption while allowing the olive trees to produce their best fruit.
A certified organic olive grove
In 2017, the estate was certified organic.
Although the estate did not use pesticides and chemicals prior to acquisition, the procedure requires a 3-year administrative delay to obtain organic certification.
This is how we justified not using any pesticides during this regulatory period. That’s why we’ve obtained organic certification for our olive groves.
