Spiced apple chutney

Looking to spice up your daily culinary routine? You’ll love today’s recipe. A delicious blend of apples, sherry vinegar, sugar, chilli flakes, cinnamon stick, shallots, ground ginger, cardamom powder and salt to give your dishes an exquisite taste.

Start by peeling, coring and dicing the apples. Then finely chop the shallots. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer gently for 30 minutes. Your delicious chutney is now ready to be poured into a glass jar and stored in the fridge for up to a month.

  • 5 apples (about 500 g)
  • 30 g sugar
  • 20 cl Emile Noël sherry vinegar
  • ½ cuil. teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 shallots
  • 1 tsp. coffee ground ginger
  • ¼ cuil. coffee cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp. teaspoon salt

Spiced apple chutney

La recette

Peel, core and dice the apples. Peel and finely chop the shallots.

Place the apples, sherry vinegar, sugar, chilli flakes, cinnamon stick, shallots, ground ginger, cardamom powder and salt in a saucepan.

Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Pour the chutney into a glass jar. You can keep it for 1 month in the refrigerator.
