Millet salad with almond sauce

Ingredients for the salad

  • 100 g millet
  • 1/4 Chinese cabbage
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1/4 to 1/2 Cucumber
  • 5 Candied tomatoes

Ingredients for the sauce

  • 3 small shallots
  • 1/4 lime
  • 2 tablespoons almond purée
  • 2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • coriander powder
  • Fresh coriander
  • Fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil, toasted
  • 3 tablespoons Emile Noël omega 3 oil

Millet salad with almond sauce

La recette

-Wash and chop your vegetables,
-Cook your millet for 15 minutes in 180g boiling salted water, then leave to swell for a further 10 minutes.

-Chop your shallots.
-Cook in 2 tbsp olive oil until translucent, then add 1 tbsp tamari.
-Reserve.

For the sauce
-Mix the almond purée with the lime, 2 oils, tamari, water and add the spices.
-Add the cooked shallots and stir.
-Make your own salad with millet, vegetables and dressing!
-Mix together and enjoy.
-Add fresh coriander and seeds of your choice.
